The US broke the women's 4x100m medley relay world short-course record at the world championships. The US quartet of Margaret Hoelzer, Jessica Hardy, Rachel Komisarz and Kara Denby clocked 3:51.36 secs to beat the 3:51.84 set by Australia at the championships in Shanghai on April 7th 2006.
